Jim and Ann Campbell founded Leo Builders in 1989 in Mid-Coast, Maine. Jim grew up in the village of Tenants harbor and always loved woodworking and creating things with his hands. He studied building and design at CMVTI and after graduating, he spent 4 years as a foreman for a high end builder in Camden, Maine. He decided his dream was to be the owner and creator of his own building company, building people’s dreams.

Ann is a 6th generation Mainer and was born in Rockland , Maine. Her father was in the military and her mother is a nurse and after settling in Bangor, she attended Husson College, but always came back in the summer to visit her grandparents, who lived in Thomaston, Her grandfather Hollis was a builder and Ann used to accompany him to work sometimes and loved passing her summers here on the coast. After graduating, she moved back here permanently and met Jim and together they formed Leo Construction.

We also pride ourselves on great relationships with several area architects, should you decide to have your home designed by one.

Frequent meetings between all involved parties, progress updates and agreement on any design and structural changes throughout the progress will keep the job running smoothly and result in your house, your way!

We only use licensed, reputable sub-contractors as well, and work very closely with them to ensure outstanding results.
